Holy Crap! An update!

Ok so I haven't updated in like, a billion years I know I know. But I desperately needed a break from studying for finals so this is the perfect time.

I'm doing super sweet at college, except for finals are gay and so is my roommate. She is making our room smell because her feet are really stinky. And she's just not very respectful, she will leave the door wide open when she comes in at like 2am and people are screaming in the hallways, while I'm fast asleep in my bed! Sooooo... I'm kissing her and her crazy-ness goodbye! I'm moving in with my awesome friend Ashley, who incidentally is from almost the same place as me. She lives in Altoona, so we are pretty close. Its gonna be rad, and I can't wait to get away from my smelly-foot roommate.

I like it here, the school is nice (I'm going to Graceland located in good ole Lamoni, about an hour south of DSM) and so are the people. But I'm not too fond of the hall that I live on, it seems like all the crazies (MY ROOMMATE) are on it. So next year I think I'll switch halls, too. The town is majorly lame though. There's not much to do, and it has nothing in it but amish people and their buggies. Seriously, they are everywhere. There's one Hy-vee in town and its about the tiniest thing EVER (and it closes at 8pm). There's a pizza hut, dollar general, subway, and ONE BAR. Also, a one room movie theater that gets movies about 3 weeks after they come out everywhere else. It makes me miss home just because there's more places to go. But we still have fun. Oh and I forgot, the most important thing for Lamoni is its live stock auction... sounds sweet huh?

My classes are not bad, but my psychology teacher is a nut. He rides his bike around the classroom sometimes. My spanish teacher is hilarious, and when you make a mistake in his class he yells "minus twenty five thousand points for you!" I decided to major in math and minor in spanish... I don't know why so don't ask. I'm getting my teaching endorsement for both too, I also don't know why because I don't really wanna be a teacher. Hopefully I will figure it out soon.

Things I totally love right now: Not having to walk 93829834 miles in the snow to class, popcorn, scarves, free hot chocolate in the library, christmas lists, cereal for dinner, my bed, mandarin oranges, and new boots!

Things I totally hate right now: World Civilizations, my roommate, cold cars, and wet socks/shoes!
